I know in the poly forum I said I was a particular fan of the vulture due to my fondness of polka dots, but that juru has a pretty cute face. Unique looking fish. I look forward to seeing them grow in your great care.

Yeah i remember you were digging them. Travis has some nice ones....u've been trying to get him to show them off more lol

Idk i was soo anxious to get them innthe tank i forgot to take measurements... it looks tiny man maybe 3.5 to 4 inches
Hows it look guys ? Whats up with its face/head ? Could be confusing topics but i thought i read something about juruense skin peeling ?
I think the tank is suitable the way it is and the fish will be fine after they settle down. I hope the vulture doesn't fit in anyone's mouth too easily, just something to look out for. In 1-2 months, it will gain another couple inches and will get thick.
I don't recall anybody asking for pictures of my vultures. They are very good looking fish though. Jeff Rapps definitely didn't disappoint.

So tbe vulture is a little pig, downed some frozen BW and tilapia. The fat chicks (female jags) also ate. The male hasnt touched a thing.
Juruense as i expected didnt eat. Tried dropping it right infront of his face nadda....even used tongs and rubbed it on its snout...didnt even move lol. It does look like its settling down as its been swimming all over the tank and perching...which is a pretty cool sight, not sure why but its kind of cool looking like its trying to be extra fancy or something
