i use that scoop away, its the best i used so far.The box is inclosed.Man just between 2 cats i swear they kill me.My biggest pet peev is stink.

I use this stuff now http://www.scientificcatlitter.com/.

I think the name has been changed to Perfect litter alert. It changes color if the pH in your cats urine is off to let you know if they might have a UTI, and it's also flushable, which I like.
More expensive but it seems to last a really long time.

I used clumping clay litter until it started physically making me sick every time I scooped the litter box. I would literally have to throw up and I'd start coughing really bad.

The stuff I'm currently using masks the smells a lot better anyway. The only thing that sucks is sometimes my cats end up tracking dust out of the litterbox. Then again, they'd track grains from the clumping clay litter, I just don't think it was as visible, but it would definately end up in the vacuum, so I know it ended up everywhere.

I've been looking for some other non-clay based litter, but from what I've read most of them either don't mask the smell good enough or they don't clump properly. Some are made out of corn and some pine, but I've used beddings like that with my rodents so I REALLY doubt they'd smell very good with cats.

oh god the pine stuff reaks.

I figured that. Pine bedding always smelled really horrible with any of my rodents, even if kept very clean. The paper based bedding was never bad, but I can't find any of that stuff that clumps.

Try a dog ;) it got that cat smell out for good :D
