Catching wild cichlids in nj

It is a dream of mine to catch aquarium fish (non-native) with my fishin poles. Having said that its bad for the endemic creatures.

It's my dream to get a second chance to. I went peacock bass fishing in Kauai and could only come up with a tiny large mouth bass.

Any lake with a power plant will have heated water (besides hydroelectric) because the water is being used as a heat absorber. Over here we have quite a few coal fired power plants. I think they also use oil and IIRC there was one somewhere on the east coast that burned trash.
