With me building my giant cat tank a question came to mind while reading another thread. Is it possible to keep a FRT with large catfish in a very large tank........say 3000ish gals?????

One nice crescent out of the spine and instant death to the cat.......
but if your cats are way bigger than the FRT and still can't eat the FRT you should be fine...just keep a look out every now and then to see if they start to turn on your cats If a turtle tried to get one of my babies... it would be road killnecrocanis;1985733; said:hmmm, that's what I was affraid of. Can't chance the catfish safety. I tried putting my painted turtle in the pond, but he tried to bite my fish instantly. He'd make a good snack for my big boy, but I don't know how well he can digest turtle shell lol. I don't think I'll try it, but a mata mata would be killer. Any luck with those? I know they get kinda big.
