catfish at surface spinning out of control

They are wild caught, i think hees dead, ill buy some nls and some other food. Ill see if i can find some prazi

I've had catfish do this when they have issues with their swim bladder. Usually they are all out of whack when that happens. Can't go under til they degass their bladder. Not sure if that's your problem though. A vid might be helpful if it's an ongoing issue.
It may not pertain here but I've read that the floating syndrom in goldfish (inability to pass the bladder air) is commonly caused by a digestive back-up and pinching of the air ways. I'm vaigue on details but can try dig up the article. One factor was high nitrates, like in the 100s ppm, I think. It makes for lazy digestion an clogging. Again, just general info.
