I know they have notoriously high mortality rates much like the Lince do but when I got mine in the past it was from ECZS around 7-8" and made it just fine minus a little whisker damage that recovered in a month or so. I'd say more finicky than Tig when it comes to water paremeters as well.

Mine from ECZS the same time you got your's I believe came in DOA. Was still ticking a little but couldn't get him going and perished within minutes of arrival. They gave a refund, but I was sad. I still got his skeleton though lol. Most that I have seen have some pretty miffed up snouts as well. Yeah If I ever get to take a trip outside Montana I will hit you up! :)
