State of chaos
So I'm planning a 30g with Convicts but also like some Silurids. It's between Corydoras (Panda, my neighbor's spawed and she has 17:eek:) Hoplos and Ghost Glass Catfish. I'm thinking that Ghost Glass Catfish, though they only need 10g for a small school, would be too sensitive for the Convicts. But I'm not so sure. Also feel free to add any write-ins.

the glass cats will be slaughtered by the cons...I really like the idea of some hoplos, maybe some Brochis or raphaels

^^That's what I thought. Hoplos or Corydoras panda then. Which is better? I think Convict Cichlids might harass the Corydoas, right?

Raphaels get WAY to big...check one of the other Catfish threads, someone bought a 10'' at an LFS:eek:

Is your tank really only 10gal? I wouldn't put any plecos in there, regular sailfins get too big for 10gal and usually any other fancy armoured pleco you wouldn't keep with some breeding convicts in such a confined space.

MY CONS ARE WAY TOO AGGRESSIVE. THEY ARE MATING PAIR (PINK MALE / BLACK FEMALE) THE ONLY CATS I HAVE ARE 1 STRIPED RAPHAEL; 1LACE SYNDONTIS; 1 COMMON PLECO IN MY 44

He said it was going to be a 30g

if you get a striped raphael it will get too big, but if you go with the spotted raphael they will go perfectly in a 30 gallon. and are in my opinion better looking that the costatus.
