Catfish Convention 2010 : Photo Thread : Load Warning!

My daughter and I had a great time at the Catfish Convention - people from all over the world attended!
I picked up an awesome air diffuser from Kensfish (no shipping!) and Best of Show and Best Cichlid in the show.
For all of those who have always wanted to do something like this, start saving your pennies for this July's American Cichlid Association (ACA) convention in DC (Silver Spring, MD) - $99 room rate; walk to Red Line Metro (for easy access to cheap NYC commuter busses, Amtrak, etc.) and lots of fun receptions and events.

These pics are shocking to me... i thought all serious fish keepers are skinny asian males with glasses...again I do live in the Bay Area...
Nice convention, good to see so many vendors. Next time do not forget the camera for taking fish pictures. 
I think I may have to organize an MFK party next year - kinda like the one at the Denver ACA. It was 15-20 of us (although it was predatoryfish.net people) that hung out and had a few cocktails in the Denver mountains. I live not too far from Silver Spring and wouldn't mind hosting it.
