Catfish Food

try to stick with a dog food that is a little higher quality with a real meat as the first ingredient in the ingredients list for carnivorous fish.
 
I buy commercial sinking catfish pellets for about $16 per 50lb bag. They're a bit high in ash (inert additives) which requires more frequent gravel washes. But, you can't beat the price.

Perfect_prefect I wish I could use spear or bow and arrow for legal fishing in Cali. I rather get high end fish food if iam going to buy high end dog food.But i will suplement with my dogs good quality animal protein first kibble for a treat for my catfish.

Manlyfish, that is way to much work and money for me.
 
Buy the 5 lbs of NLS pellets from D&S Aquatics. Really cheap and the highest quality fish pellet I have found to date. Plus the fish you listed do not consume extremely large amounts of food so that should last you atleast 1 year per bucket.

Do not feed fish dog or cat food-it's not fish food!
 
no prob. i do this alot. also if you have any bait shops around you you can prob buy there dead live bait for cheap. you know the ones that are laying on the bottom or stuck to the filters
