Your best bet is to go catch them yourself. They are north american natives. Look on aquabid native section. I would pay about $4 each for 3 inchers.

Featherfin cat aka synodontis eupterus. They get to about 8 inches and are quite active.

like the previous post said about the bullhead. i would go catch one. its easy to do. get some dead minnows from your local bait store, they will usually give them to you for free and use them for bait. most any fishing hole has them.
