I live in Houston the only cats I caught are channel and blue.

Aquabid.com usually has lots of them... If not i have seen members on here selling them quite often... You could try a lima shovelnose. They will eat huge things just like their tiger shovelnose cousins but stay around 12 inches. (There are actually 2 species commonly labeled "lima shovelnose" they look very similar the more rare types get around 18-24 inches.) I currently am growing one out and he is easily one of my favorite cats i own.
