Catfish for 180?

Aquabid.com usually has lots of them... If not i have seen members on here selling them quite often... You could try a lima shovelnose. They will eat huge things just like their tiger shovelnose cousins but stay around 12 inches. (There are actually 2 species commonly labeled "lima shovelnose" they look very similar the more rare types get around 18-24 inches.) I currently am growing one out and he is easily one of my favorite cats i own.

I agree with the brown bullhead idea. I like these fish, the Florida morph (Ameiurus nebulosus marmoratus) is especially attractive:

Most gear for channels and blues is way too big for a brownie. IME, they're usually only 6-8" long. Fish with catfish methods but with bluegill weight gear to hang up a brownie.

Moved to catfish.

Nope.... Not that i can think of... I would recommend you go to the MFK marketplace and make a thread WTB Channel Catfish... I also had a contact about a month ago that i was going to buy a few bullheads from i will contact him again to see if he can sell you some... Good luck! :)
