Catfish for 300g

Perfect dimension for a small school of limas. Wouldn't suggest tsn unless you plan on something bigger. At only 2' front to back it will be difficult for this guy to turn when he's 3'-4'.

Alright, thanks man. How big do TSNs get? How big do the RTCxTSNs get? My granddad has a pond that I could put fish in if I wanted to. It's an actual pond, like a 2 acre pond.

They will die out during the winter if you put them into a pond unless the water temp stays above 60 degrees F. TSN get 3-4', and I think the hybrid is capable of 4', but no one knows for sure yet. I have one at 38" right now.

Alright, thanks again. I don't know what temperature the water at the bottom of the pond stays. It's maybe like 15-20' deep in the middle. I think I'll get a little school of limas though. How many should it be?

I'd say 5-6 would be awesome. They are kinda pack hunters in a sense. Put fake or real plants that are really long, or driftwood, and you'll see them sit verticle in the water alot. Especially when they are small. They are very active and look awesome when larger. Here's a pic of mine. Sorry for the poor quality.

And they do get along with other tankmate that are similar size really good. If they have a good hiding spot they can be aggressive to other fish, but generally chase each other around all day, and scarf up lots of shrimp when I feed them every night.

You could probably put as many as 10 if you were to do a species only tank, and had adequate filtration, which I'm sure you will.
