What would be some cool catfish that would be able to live there whole lives in a 150 gallon demensions are 72 long x 18 wide x 28 high. I like the lima shovel nose but seeing how they can reach 18 inch's that wouldn't work. So far I'm thinking a dat, 5 clown loachs which I already have a bichir and still thinking about the rest.

Thanks

The Sailfin Pim has been on my wish list for a long time. If I had the room I'd get one of those, but I think they get about as big as a Lima so that may not work for you... A clarias cat might work out. They get pretty big too, but I'm not sure off the top of my head how big.

Thanks for the response yeah I like the lima but seeing how he can get 18 inchs I don't want to stick him in a 18 inch wide tank. I'll look into the ones you mentioned. Thanks again!

you could always get a bullhead catfish they grow veryyyyy slowly

If you can find one, a bolt catfish would be great. They top out at 14"-15" and are quite active and aggressive enough to hold their ground. Mine is pushing 8" and has a great bluish silver background color with lots of spots.

You can see more here: bolt catfish

Synos, 4-lime pim.

ditto, four line pims get about 12 inches and they are active
