The Geophaginae family has a mouth structure for sifting sand, that's what put them in that family. They do not have a structure for eating other fish at all. I've been keeping various geo species with various cats for years without a single issue, ever.

Thats a relief... I think that a Bristlenose or two would definitely be in my tank.... as will Corys.
I can't imagine Satanoperca eating a bristlenose or cory...I've mixed without issues in the past
