Catfish for Cichlid tank

Any advise on a catfish for a comunity cichlid tank. Cichlids are small.

Depends on what type of cichlids...I keep mainly synodontis, pictus, and clown loaches in my tanks with cichlids.

There are a lot of good synodontis species that would do well with most type of chichlids.

For an african tank I would get a couple of different synodontis. S. brichardi is nice. The synos come in all sizes. For a SA tank I would get a bunch of L species.

i recomend pleco's synodontis and clown loaches.

I had S. multipuntatus and S. petricola in my african tank and S. ocellifer and clown loaches with my americans. All very nice fish.

like the others have said, there's a synodontis for any setup (excluding brackish or marine of course) one of my favorites is the syno. schoutedeni or yellow marbled syno.

raphael cat or pleco would be good. they stay small and harmless
