There are so many options, I'm surprised no one even mentioned cory cats!! They are great for dwarf/med. sized CA/SA cichlids. There are soo many freakin diff. types of cats out there its crazy. Pictus are def. good one, there are several varieties...my fav. at the moment is the ornate pictus! Pretty kewl lookin!

I really like the synodontis cats, especially if you doing an african tank. they're just as active and great cleaners. Also can be found to grow from 4" upto 12"+.
