What's a catfish or a few i can add that wont get too big for this tank
and wont get eaten?

Well you've got Orange Spots and other Bristlenose in there anyway by the looks of things, so I'm presuming you're after something a bit different.

Basically any Pleco's that don't grow over 12", any Corydoras, Pictus Cats, take your pick, there's a whole bunch of options. Unless you're feeding them specifically they'll be competing for scraps with your Eartheaters though.

I'd go with smaller pimelodids like pictus or bumblebees, they won't get eaten and are not particularly aggressive

I liked mine so much i got another for my son's tank...

just becareful of smaller fish you put in the tank.. it won't chase them around,
but it will stalk them at night and if they can fit into it's mouth, you will find a fat cat in the morning...

I lost 2 F1 True GT's 1.5" to mine... Wasn't thinking when i bought the GT's and forgot about the Cat since i don't see it... :(

If you want to keep it into a biotype I'd go with somthing such as corydoras sterbae, if you don't mind going outside of a biotype and just want somthing interesting look into synodontis petricola - they're hands down one of the most awesome shoaling, peaceful catfish out there.

9-12 in a tank that size would be great.

Spotted raphael cat.

i second that. ive had a spotted for years ive NEVER SEEN EAT. not even ONCE. yet he's fat and ugly as can be, does not get eaten, and has not eaten anyone as far as i know.

granted you dont see them that often, but oh well.
