catfish for geophagus tank

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
im going to look at those cory's ... considering everything i have in there is south american, i will just keep with that biotope...

'Biotope' is the terminology for a tank that is a very close simulating the exact natural habitat of a river/stream/reservoir etc, so technically a tank that's simply full of South Americans (similar to mine) isn't a biotope, especially with the BGK in there.

Any Corydoras will be fine, don't think you need to stick to C. sterbai. Peppered Cory's are very cheap over here and a nice looking species in my opinion. You'll probably want them reasonably large though depending on the size of your BGK (which I presume is the big 40cm+ boy that you've got).

Haha yeah i was actually thinking that.... but it just seemed like a nice word to use.... haha.

Yeah I'm going to go look for some cory's in the next few days.

Yeah the bgk, hes 41cm i measured the other day.
The cory's Probably need to be medium sized... his mouth Isn't that large though....

Once it's fully setup with everything ill take some photos......

Only the leuco's and the keyholes are in there right now....
The rest are going in on wednesday/thursday....
then the cory's...
