catfish ID please

Can someone tell me what kind this is. He has a white spot right in the middle of his head but you cant see it in the picture.

I'm not 100% certain on this one, but I have to say that it looks like a very dark brachyplatystoma juruense. How big is he? How long have you had him? And how much was he?

I paid $30 for him.
He's about 5 inches.
Ive had him for 2 months.
And he has very long tail filaments but you cant see them in the pic.(about 3 in. long)

I concure on the Brach. However I'm not sure if it's a color varient or a cf or intirely different sp. The dorsals usually don't bow like that and the and the caudle fin niether has antenea and one of the ID parts is the caudle difference between top and bottom
