Yikes thats alot of teeth next to a wels...i house mine solo...and agreed albino channels easily reach 30"+ in 3-5yrs

The couple that dont even show the whole fish u can clearly tell there bigger than 2ft. Just by head size. They really look different when "adult" aswell. True monsters in their own right :) single handedly the first fish that got me in the "monster" hobby over 15yrs ago.

As fair as I know albino channels are the only commonly available "larger" catfish. I know that there is an albino of just about everything but they haven't made it to the hobby in any numbers. Walking catfish might be a fit but they are illegal in the US for good reason. Perhaps an albino clown knife? It has a similar body shape to the wels.

Well put except albino IDSs are relatively available too IME even at the big box stores.

I felt like I was forgetting something. Oddly enough I've never seen an Albino IDS in person here in Upstate New York but I know they are common else where. Then again I've never seen a datnoid of any type up here either.
