So... Leiarius x Pseudoplatystoma? Aka Pseudoplatystoma Sp. Hybrid(4)?

So is it a mix between Leiarius Marmoratus and Pseudoplatystoma Tigrinium? Or perhaps Fasciatus (TSN)?

To those who said so, it is not a TSN...

I don't think that this is a crossbreed. It looks like a Tiger Shovelnose to me.

Which one? I think none of them have such a spot and stripe pattern at any age, such a sloping head, and way too large adipose, dorsal and anal fins... but I am always eager to learn. Just look at the adipose alone - all TSN have theirs very small.

Better get ur eyes checked everyone lol...its a tsnxmarmaratus hybrid...many variations of this fish as eash batch looks different favoring one way or the other. Lots of these threads popping up lately for a pretty common fish.

No disagreement here. Hey, Wednesday, what's your take on the second link in my post above? Your input would be nice to have.

Bottom right shows my tsnxmarmoratus hybrid next to 2 tsn for comparison, not even close to miss i.d. lol...mine is 3yrs old from 3". Theres many names for this fish and a couple different crosses to make them. Some common names are tsnxmarble achara hybrid, tsnxlei, tsnxmarmoratus, all variations of basically the same thing when u get down to it with one parent being a TSN and the other being a marmoratus (marble achara), or a learius pictus (learius marmoratus)..
