what kind of a bullhead is this? went night fishing after work with my bass pro shop tinylite. only about a pound but good fightin with the ultralite setup.

Looks like a yellow bullhead. They're good eating too, but I wouldn't eat anything out of that river. I'll make fish n chips out of them when I'm out at the Colorado River. Come to think of it I did eat a Channel cat out of the San Diego river that was pretty darn good!
no i didn't keep him. i catch and release unless its trout. if i do catch trout (not talking about sd river anymore) i always give them to fishing neighbors. id eat catfish but like rivershark said, not from the SD river and at least not so far downstream. im sure its ok, but i'd prefer not to.
