y did the thread have to turn sad guys
i rescued a RTC from my grandmas office.
some one there heard my grandma talking about my adiction
and when i came to wisit he said let me show you my aquarium. i said ok and followed him i got there and saw a 5 gallon with some tetras and a chinese algae eater. the decor had one piece of drift wood and gravel.
then he goes dangit the red tip shark ate another one. and im like huh??
he then lifts up the drift wood and out pops the smallest RTC ive ever seen!!!!
like maybe 1.5 inches anyway i ask him who sold it to him and he said a certain LFS near me who tells some one any thing to make money
so then i told him to look up "red tailed catfish". so he did.
later that week i came in to say hi to grandma and he had the RTC in a glad ware asking if i could take it. OF COURSE I COULD
any way i say i will make room for him. he goes thank you and gives me 10 bucks for "giving it a good home."
today was a good day for all. im just glad that some people keep in mind the best interest of the fish.
lol thats how i am at this one LFS...the more exotic fishes (freshwater and saltwater) are being kept in 0.5'x1' tanks...=[ but those are those 1-3" baby fishes like orino's, other peacock basses, e-eel, e-cat, front's, puffers, flowerhorns, plecos, jardini arowana's, baby wild oscars, niger catfishes, and all sorts
