Mine has grown from 2.5" to 8.5" in about 3 months. The other one I had grew from 12" to 18" in 4 months before it died. Hope this helps.

Got rid of 2 of my monster Cats,but still have a 14 inch Lima(plus a RTC/TSN and a Marbled Pim both around 4-5 inches,"future monsters")so i am in!!!
