catfish league

ok so im sure Monster Catfish have been defined in these 50 pages that I'm not in the mood for reading right now, but how about this. my largest cat, a 32" Channel died a few months back :( so i downgraded all of my tanks and now i have 2 yellow bullheads and a raphael catfish. now the bullheads are only 8" or so BUT they can eat 60 tuffies in 2 days. does this qualify them as monsters? or are they just greedy?! i want to be a member tho, so my pool is currently being setup to house a future RTC

Perhaps you shoudn't allow the slide... since kdysexy didn't bother to read the "definition" of a Monster catfish ;) :grinno: :ROFL:
 
lol i always try to live by someones profile quote

my bullheads have eaten 3 6" jack dempseys :)
 
Sad times, I recently had to move from my house of 32 years against my will. I had to take down my fish farm and all my ponds and aquariums. The only fish I kept was my Flathead catfish I had been raising from a fry for two years. He jumped out of his vat sometime last night and was dead this morning. He hasn't been happy since the move and wasn't eating well. the water here is drastically different from where I was and I guess that along with other factors of the move just mad him go nuts. He was a very cool fish and would allow me to touch and rub him. I am really down right now. My home made plywood tank of 24 years started leaking when I tried to set it back up all my swamp trees died during the move and now this. I will start over but it was a long haul to get there and it will be a long haul to get back. I look at my fish as the equal to my dogs and any other pet and when they die I am very much grief stricken. I think maybe I love my fish too much.
