540Litres...uhmmm thats like 130-140 or so gallons...and well you can keep Gulper Catfish, as they don't get that big for it and eat soo much and have big mouths to eat a whole meal...you can get a group of 3-4 if you want but they are kinda pricey...but maybe from where your at, it may be cheaper. Let me check on some of my catfish list of names that may be appropriate for your size tank...oh btw whats the dimensions of your 540Litres?
I'm building a 200 gal tank for my living room that measures 53" x 28" x 28", that will be a growout/ lifer tank for my bullhead, limas, and possibly the jurense depending on how big he will get. It should be complete within the next few weeks, and the other one which has been in the works for a long time comming is measuring either 16' x 8' x 3.5', or 20' x 8' x 3.5'. 3000 gals, or roughly 4000 gals. Costs a few hundred extra to go out 4' more, so not sure, but as stated earlier it will be a pond with a viewing window for side viewing, and the design keeps getting more and more complicated. Thinking of sectioning off the whole back side of the garage, waterproofing the walls, putting in a stair case to go for an above view, and the glass will go from the top about 30" down so there will be nothing on the top of the glass, but only the two sides and bottom. I plan to feed from there so that I can get a good view while feeding. Everything's planned, but material purchasing has been hectic. I'll keep you guys updated.

count me in got 2 paroon sharks about 12" still a lot of growing 2 do. Also got rtc/tsn cross about 4"
Oh, i was thinking about red tail lol 
i know they get big but they are so lovely, what about giraffe catfish? Some big catfish atleast i had a shovelnose but they grow so slow,
and one more question what do you guys think i should do, sell my 540L aquarium for a 240L aquarium and have saltwater in the 240L or should i buy catfish, i love catfish but i think saltwater is nice to, im not that very good too clean my aquarium regulary (sorry for my english from sweden :/)

saltwater is boring unless you keep sharks.
i suggest you get a cat but down grading your tank wont be a good idea if your gonna get RTCs
