I recently moved my channel cat into a 50 gal. tank from the cramped 20. The tank just has river rocks on the bottom and he loves to move them. I am not sure why he does this but I cant sleep and my dad keeps complaining downstairs about it. I dont want to use small gravel because Im afraid he will choke on it. So, should I go with a bare glass tank or what can I do? He just wont stop with his rocks.:irked:

Ummm...I admit I find this amusing.:D

Why not replace it with driftwoods?

well he had a piece of driftwood but i cant find a good way to anchor it down and he just kicks/fins it around with his rocks and I dont want anything to break the tank. In the 20 ga he made him like a bed of rocks on one side and a hill of rocks on the other and now he leaves it alone, but that took him months and that tank was quieter due to smaller rocks. I cant take months of him playing with his rocks at 2 am.

ok, im about to remove all of the rocks. If anybody has any other ideas feel free to chime in.

Would also say take them out, may even damage the tank if theyre big.

Just out of interest, dont channel cats get MASSIVE? like bigger than a RTC massive?
