Catfish playing with rocks?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
yea, mine outgrew his 20 within the first 6 months of his life. I just recently was able to obtain the 50 gallon, but it wont last long. As soon as I move out of my parents house in the next few months Im going to get him a bigger tank. Im just afraid to put something bigger than a 50 upstairs. Plus, im out of room. I may get him one of those makeshift wal mart pool ponds for this summer to make him more comfortable, but thats just ideas.

Anyways, the rocks are out and his driftwood is in the center of the tank. How can I anchor the driftwood in place?

Ebay, STAT! I SO need some of them.. great plan :)

Gives new meaning to the phrase "get your rocks"...

you could go with sand it passes right through them.

  sorry for laughing dude but this is awsome but in a dangerous kinda way  Anyway yeah, i would get those rocks out and go for smaller gravel or sand, That ping pong ball idea is awsome too id go for that aswell.

Atleast that way you both get what you want out of it, he gets to play with his balls whilst you are sleeping   So cool mate, good luck ;)

Would also say take them out, may even damage the tank if theyre big.

Just out of interest, dont channel cats get MASSIVE? like bigger than a RTC massive?

They get huge, but not 5ft-rtc-huge :)

Maybe you could get some stone that is in between the two sizes.

And/or you could cut down on his 're-decorating time' by moving what is in there to what he decided he liked in his last tank. Then maybe he'll just need to make some small adjustments to get cozy!!

LOVE the ping pong ball idea, AND the story. You should video that fish playing with his toys and post it!!!

I love the ping pong ball idea. It will let the fish play, or decorate his tank as long as he wants. Also try finding other plastic things that will sink for more entertainment. My ID sharks puts everything back to the way it was if I changed his tank.
