I dont think that will work with a 19 pounds catfish unless you use tractor tires.

That is not true cause I personally have hogged (that is what we call it)
several over 50 lb flat heads and several hundred under 50 lbs. Its just a matter of having a place where they can't escape, ie: hollow log, under rock
or car bodies.

Only way to rid them is drain the ponds.

Try laying out trot lines to catch the cats. I dont know of any chemicals that will kill catfish only. Or drain the pond and start over.

That sucks, the pond is huge and beautiful, but it's so big that, it's almost impossible to get all those catfish out. A tough situation.
