Atm I believe the goonch is 46" TL, unless your friend's hands are abnormally small

haha the pectoral fin is bigger than his foot. there is no doubt that the fish is over 46"

wels all day long, im bord of catfish that hardly move until feeding time... wels will hand feed and beg, thats worth a trade off of teeth and looks imo... like having a beautiful wife with 0 personality imo lol!

lol I think he said about 5 years. tbh I think his goonch shows that it is possible for them to get to colossal sizes with proper care and a proper tank lol

It is an amazing specimen he's done a great job :thumbup: , by tank I presume you mean something like a garage sealed up and filled with water ? Lol it must be huge
