catfish suggestions for a 55 gallon

I have only owned one catfish and I was wanting to put some in one of my 55 gallons any suggestions on what to put in it.

also this is my catfish sold as Raphael striped catfish how big can it get its around 6 inches now

6" is pretty good for a striped raphael, they are pretty slow growers, but can reach around 10".

I bought a synodontis lace catfish and a spotted pictus catfish both about 2 inches. 5 busk a peice at my LFS

I own one of each. The spotted, I believe, does not get quite as big as the striped. As much as I love the striped variety, the spotted might be a tad more attractive. For a 55 and already having a raph, your options are fairly limited. Although I have had great luck with my raphs not eating small tankmates, they, as you know, are notorious for doing so. So, my best suggestion, is, as someone else already said, a spotted raph. (and they are quite affordable too!)

id love to get a spotted raphael if I see one I would most likeky get it if priced reasonably

So are you asking for another Catfish to put with your Striped Rafael Cat or another tank? If you got a Pictus, get more. They do good in groups and bump up the temperature since these guys are known to get ich easily.
