catfish tankmates for endli?

I think she said they ripped it apart rather than eating it whole. So maybe it was an unusual circumstance. Seems like it you could get a full grown one it may be fine. Not sure definitely not an expert that's why I'm looking for suggestions.


After doing some researching I was thinking about a lima shovelnose. If i get it as a baby would it do ok with young datnoids? Would the catfish possibly outpace them in growth and eat them? They are around 3-4 inches right now.
 
you could go with a jaguar cat, or as someone stated above, a sa bumblebee. actually a "giant" sa bumblebee. they both grow to 10-12" and are cool looking. both are also for sale at cichlidstation.com right now. i ordered some fish from them a few months back and was happy with the transaction. do your research and don't rush the choice to make sure you end up getting just what you want. whatever you decide, good luck!

Those are both very cool looking, I think I'll see what I can get ordered locally. I've always liked bumblebees didn't know there were any that got that size.
