Catfish w/ Koi

Hi just want to know Can my 4inch channel catfish be housed with my Koi fish? The koi are Big about 5-6inch. They cant fit in anyway in the Channel cat fishes mouth. I have a 60 Gal Tank which only houses 2 koi which arnt Big. Thanks.
 
yes, but the catfish will grow quicker than the koi so watch out. Also the channel cat and koi will be pushing two feet in length before you know it. Better start thinking of an upgrade.
 
Yes you can I have a channel cat in my pond with Koi Orfe Tench the only problem is the channel cat has eaten one of the small Tench but every thing else he has left alone and has been in there coming up to 2 years now. He is about 18" now and in the summer eats the pellets off the top. O i have no frogs in the pond now.;)

Thanks, tomorrow im going to remove the blocker and see if he plays nice with my koi. All he does it hides in his little rock cave tell night. Should i remove the cave? I like to see him move around more at day time. An yes i know they are night time fish, But im not going to toss on NVG just to see him swing around. Another Question. Can mood lighting help? or will this scare him off?
 
Koi and Channel Cats are fine. I've even kept a Clarias Cat as well with them. Just make sure you have enough room. The Channel will grow very fast.
 
:nilly: I think the koi(s) grow faster then the channel catfish because gold fishes don't know when to stop eating!:irked: :screwy:
