I was inspired by all the beautiful catfish I see on this site-Wow your fish are awesome-I really want like 3-4 cats to go with my cichlids-I was thinking the following for sure:
1. Marbled Achara Cat
2. Eclipse Cat
3. Torpedo Cat (by the way where can I find one)
I would like one other currently my fish are in a 240 and consist of Dovii, Umbee, Red Pike, Black Belt, and Jaguar-I know quite a bit about catfish but I believe there are many others that know more than myself and can help.

Oh by the way I was planning on first moving my 5 cichlids to the pond and then whatever cats I get grow them out in my 240.

by torpedo cat do you mean torpedo shark?
if so dont do it, torpedosharks are very aggerssive and do best in a species tank:)

Really-I have heard they are aggressive and have seen them with cichlids-you don't think cichlids could hang with them-I discovered this fish on a Web-site and they get like 18 inches are white with like black dots or stripes. I'll fine the scientific name right now.

alright found it on Planet Catfish and yes they say they are aggressive but I noticed in some of the pics it was with a Dovii-here is the sctf. name Calophysus Macropterus AKA Vulture Catfish.

the achara and vulture catfish will work watch the vulture they can be a little aggressive and could tear a cichlid up if they wan'ted to the eclipse catfish would be okay if it was big enough and seeing as adults are hard to find and they grow VERY slow i don't think they will work but you could just keep it in your 240
