I would not use heat, salt and meds all at the same time.
My choices (in no particular order) are meds only or heat only or heat and salt (where fish can handle the salt.)
Heat only (86-87f) is my personal preference for fish that can handle the heat.
And FYI when adding salt, it's not advisable to add it all at once. Fish can acclimate to higher amounts given time. If it's 1 tbs per 5 gallons, I would split that dosage and add over an 8-12 hours span. Also, when using heat, be sure to increase the heat slowly and observe the fish to see if they are having trouble with the lower oxygen levels. Add aeration if needed.
And lastly, be sure to dry out everything after it's cured. Ich can survive a long time in a damp bucket or inside a partially emptied siphon.
