shovelnose catfish or striped raphel catfish pictus i have an rtc and its going in a 55 for now as long as you have a place for a bigger tank rtc are the way to go or you could get the hibrid rtc /tiger shovelnose catfish ?

what would be a minimum tank size for the sun cat? Im really looking into a 180 6x2x2 because I would really like to keep a lima.
i have seen a full size pair of suncats in a 75 and they looked good. they are very curios and love to eat
sun cats can be active and or fun to watch eat. i also have a 4-lined catfish(pimelodus blochii) witch come out at nite and at feeding time and get as big as sun cats.hope this helps you.
channel cat. Make sure it's not a blue channel cat because they get huge.Bull catfish are similar in size to sun cats
i do have a medium sized jack dempsey and ive seen the size of fish that gulpers can eat, im afraid he might take my jack. maybe i can find a juvenile one.
With cichlids it should be alright, I didn't have any issues but cichlids never lasted long in my tank.

can say more. My sun cat did challenege similar sized fish often though. Other cats and characins mainly, that's what I had. Left bichirs alone.
