Yeah I believe it's Pseud. Niger.. Didn't know he had one but yeah.. It's big but peaceful. There's always giraffe nosed catfish too.

Ivan wants $150.00 for his I think but you can usually find small ones for $20.00 and 6-7"'ers for like $50.00
There's M. Irwini too which looks the same but is black/gray and only gets 2ft. Couple of those on aquabid. Think there's a pseud. niger on there too.

Whats the nigers color? and how fast do they grow? cuz im very tempted to buy ivans but if they are fast growing than i might buy a smaller one
From what I know they grow slow but haven't found many people who have them, and none that list growth rate. Might ask ivan about growth rate. P. Niger is all dark/black I believe. Both have an "armored" look with hook like barbs down the side.
