cats for 180g

what are some cool catfish that would be fine an 180g for life besides a lima shovelnose? im looking for a catfish that stays out and ill be able to see a lot. it would have to get along with the fish in my sig, meaning it should be around 12"-24". any suggestions are appreciated, pics are great too.

I wouldn't get a giraffe if I were you. Great catfish but comes from Africa and you clearly have a SA set up going there :D
 
tigrinus are way too expensive for me, i thought about ornate pims but if theyr anythin like pictuses theyll sit in their caves all day and only come out when i feed them. i have no clue what a girrafe or jurenese are.
 
i searched the internet for info on jurenese and girrafe cats, and both are supposed to get around 3'. how big do albino channel cats get? i saw some at my lfs and theyr awesome looking. cheap too, only 8$.
 
Channel cats get MASSIVE. I think that 3-3.5 feet is not unheard of
 
a realistic max size for a jur is 2 foot, same for the giraffe, maybe a bit bigger tho. ornate pims are plenty active, at least from what ive seen
 
I'd suggest sun catfish. They are very active, have great coloration and have awesome "personalities". They max out at 12-14" also so perfect for a 180.

I have 2 in my 200 and I love them. They have grown quite quickly and are in the 5-7" range (I'm not very good at the whole guess/estimate my fish's size thing..)

i looked at the sun cats i really like them, are they uncommon because ive never seen them at my lfs?
