caught a catfish today!

so i went fishing today and caught a 1 foot bullhead catfish (i think thats it) but wow when i realed him in i realized there was another string attached to my string as well so i thought i caught some one elses line. i pulled him up and realized he was tangled tightly around his body with fishing string. poor guy. he even had a big meal to so it even made it worse.i gently held up to take the hook off and he started making that noise catfish usually makes but then SH1$7 started coming out his back that meant that string was really really really tight around him. took me awhile to take all the string off cause i couldnt get my knife between him and the string to make a cut. but i freed him..he looked really stressed out. but i feel good i let him go..just wanted to share my story! it was his lucky day! ill have pics up later

Looks like a channel catfish to me, bullhead would not have a forked tail. Glad to see you helped him out and set him free. Good karma points for you! :)
