Caught couple crappie sunfish during lunch

Yes thats it. Its actually a very good area but they have been spraying to kill water weeds and even the color of the water was off.
They spray every yr about now. It stinks till mid Aug closer you get to Glades as far as some cichlids go.

The fish as a whole werent biting and most were gone. I have walked deep in that area many times looking for pythons lol never saw one nor has a single parks official I have met.

Its actually bit of a ride for me so usually just fish Tamiami canals closer to FIU as work in that area.

Going to soon try Tropical park by bird road soon just for big catfish and bass.

Funny couldnt catch or see an Oscar near Glades but again due to weed algicide city is spraying yet half a block away from work caught oscar .

While targeting a fish I cant get to bite EVER lol -Red devil.

Have you ever caught a Red devil ?

I was able to unhook it with no damage since it was such a tiny gator .

The gators here are dwarfs compared to the monsters in your side of the world.

Not a green sunfish. Both are Florida or "coppernose" bluegill (Lepomis macrochirus mystacalis). Coppernose sometimes have pale-margined fins like green sunfish, but do not have the bass-like shape and mouth of greens.
