Caught My 1st Bowfin Today.......

My first one I was so excited hes a lil over 2ft I went all over the state to try and find one and then I went to a local spot by my house and there he was...:headbang2:D

I was wondering if i could keep him with a P Bass, Rtc,Rtcxtsn hybrid when they reach a size that he wont view them as snacks. They will be in a 380g 10x2.5x2.5 until a pond is built for our cats....
 
dont know the answer but congrats on the catch. what'd he hit on etc? details bro...
 
He hit some bait fish i had caught early in the week I caught him from the shore the funny thing is and idk how the heck this happen but he hit my girls line she went to set the hook to fast he got off then he hit me with a bobber tore it to pieces casted it out again let him take the bait dang near swallowed it and the fight was on lol got him on land and you would of thought I just won the Bass Masters Challenge lollllllllllllll took forever to get the hook out without him tear n my hand to shreds.....
 
!!!!!!!!!!!!! damn!!!! i'm so mad! i tried all weekend for one and nothing but some small blue gill.....
 
I know the feelin I traveled dam near the entire state to catch one and low and behold it was right around the corner lol but good luck bro and I caught him right after it got done raining just a heads up to help good luck again....
