Caught on Camera: Piraya jumps out of tank

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Howdy,

LOL @ jp ... Better feeding response ... That is one way to put it. Actually, I've been somewhat worried ever since this happened, and taken action:
1. I requested a free sample of gloves from a supplier at work: Cut- and puncture-resistant with a stainless steel core inside kevlar. Just in case this happens when we're out of town and the neighbors feed them.
2. I got the old glass strip out again that I used to lock my wolffish tank. That guy routinely jumped against the lid, and popped it open. Now I feel better when my little guy plays in front of the tank.

Tellemuno, sorry to hear about the HITH in your pirayas. They are a very nice size! Maybe pirayas are just that sensitive to it? I'll try a second treatment regimen and post results in the main p forum. We'll get a handle on it, I hope.

ya,its truly a bastard a-- disease that takes patience and diligence to get a hand on.

That is a crazy video!!!! Watch your fingers! Picking up a P that size that is pissed off and flopping around would be kind of nerve racking.

wow thats a very odd but interesting think

hahahah mine jumped last night and broke my lid

How's the fish doing? I once had a wolffish knock itself out and die after hitting the lid...
