That's what I thought. At that size, they'd have to be offspring of an established population and I've never heard anything about Cichla being established in SoCal. The only established cichlid population in SoCal that I'm aware of are tilapia in the irrigation ditches feeding the Salton Sea in Imperial County.I'm sure most know I was just BS'ng w/cathing these....LOL..
