Caught this in my minnow trap.

This little darter was in my bass food trap. Can anyone ID? I think it's a Johnny Darter.

You should have kept it. Your pond you keep it. You don't need any Permit for that. Nobodys is going to tell me if I can keep the fish I catch.

Somebody will, the DNR among others. Practice ethical native fishkeeping, because we all pay for the mistakes of a few.

It's just a minnow trap. I feed hornyhead chubs, fatheads, etc.
