Cause Of Death?

What was the difference in the pH between the water in the bag and the water in the tank? You said you floated them for a half hour and released them with no acclamation to your tank water. I'll bet if you check the two there was a significant difference, if you get the numbers you'll get your answer.
I could test the pH of my tank, but I don’t have the water from the bag anymore.

Edit: All four Bala Sharks have died.

I'm thinking now that it might have been some sort of disease that was just not affecting them at the store and was activated or something be the stress of being bought. I think it's this because the mollies are dying now as well, only the ones I bought at petsmart though. The two from petco are seeminglying unaffected, at least for now.

Another possibilty, is that there was something toxic on the outside bag of the fish bag that you floated in the tank: hand lotion, soap residue, household cleaner, etc

I don’t think it’s that, the bag was floated in the Oscars tank first. If there was something on the outside of the bag wouldn’t they be showing symptoms as well?

Not necessarily. Toxin/contamination could affect different individuals differently. Like I said, just throwing out possibilities

What do you suggest I do to try and save the last molly? She’s not looking to good right now, but she looks better than the others did. Their symptoms just appeared out of nowhere, and all of a sudden they couldn’t swim at all.

I would just do a 50% water change right away and then another 50% w/c tomorrow and just hope for the best
