thank you chris. that's what i thought when i first read the regs. i will still ask the fwc guys next time i see them at the boat ramp.

i guess a nice florida softshell could be an interesting contrast to a florida snapper.

i will start posting pics of the setup as i get more done.
 
In my experience most wildlife officers do not know the regs on captive wildlife. You'd be better off calling the main office.
 
good point about the fwc officers. they are focused on the sw fishing regs here.
