CB blue iggys? are they available in the usa?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
okay, so it is exaggerated but tom is the biggest iggy breeder that I can think of. If you know anyone bigger, let me know.

Go to El Salvador...........Google the Fluker farm, or any one of the many Iguana production lines down there............Hundreds of thousands are produced a year, at any one of those farms..............

i think if there is a cool reptile that needs to be saved, they should give 6 of them to tom crutchfeild and have him breed the heck out of them.

That wouldnt really solve the issue. then you would have alot of stock but not good variety in the genetics being produced. this happened with blue tegus.

Tom would do it on a large scale, market them and make them very common. then they would trickle out to other breeders that would start to breed them and eventually reduce the price. Nearly everything in the states (herp wise) starts out with tom before it gets to other breeders.

not entirely true. while Tom does deal with alot of rare breeds and such i wouldnt say everything starts with him. but he does have some very big projects that he works on.

Tom is big with Cyclura breeding and has been for a long time. but David Blair over at herp nut is just as big if not bigger than Tom, probbaly due all the trouble Tom got into a while back. and if memory serves me right he did some jail time for smuggling or something like that. I have nothing against Tom, my rhino is from his stock and he deff knows his stuff and was a pleasure to deal with.

Different speices. Tom deals with Cyclura, and he is good. but he is known for rhinos, cubans and crosses. all of those farms just deal with regualr green iggs, which is a whole other can of worms that needs its own thread lol.

I think at that point we were talking Greens, but if you want to get technical, then I'll go with Bob Ehrig............
