Yes, this is outdoor tank. I'll be installing a 36W UV sterilizer for algae control.

Thanks for comments everybody. Planning to do most of the plumbing work this weekend.

1. The predicted date for moving fish is first week of January.
2. The plumbing is coming from the front of the tank. not from the bottom.
3. I had a little mis-calculation and the sump tank I made to put under the cave below the tank turns out to be too big for that space. Now the sump tank will stand on the ground outside and I'll have to think something to make it look nicer since it will be visible now.

Well, that was the only choice. I am building the tank on an existing slab so I'll have to drill it to go through bottom. The other two sides of the tank are on end walls. Front face is the only one available.

For your sump, maybe you could add some plants above it to help make it look like a hydroponic garden?
