Center Brace?

nah i was intimidated alil but it wasnt bad i used ge 1 silicone 1 tube did my 36" 58 gallon. the hardest part was getting all the old silicone cut and scraped out clean
 
yeah, thats exactly my feelings, I am worried about how I am going to get in there and scrape all the old silicon out. Any suggestions?
 
a good sharp razor blade and be careful and use acetone to prep everything and remove any left over silicone residue. and us epainters tape in the corners to make it look nice and uniform.
 
whats the best way to remove the old rim/frame?
 
ive heard of people breaking them , and shaving the top of the frame off with a razor blade and cutting the edges and then using monofiliment to cut through the silicone
 
Yep, just break the plastic and pull it off in pieces. Trust me, you will save a lot of time and effort that way.
 
should I try and like try it loose first or anything?
