Male nics are gorgeous but IMO they don't reach their full potential unless they have a female by their side and are in breeding dress.

I vote for a Gold Saum too-- very colorful and they like showing off, as opposed to the JD which has less personality in my opinion!

I'd also go for the saum, i've seen alot of EBJD's that have unreal colour but look deformed compared to the normal JD's.

JD or female Festae.Although the Saum looks good when adult an adult male JD looks much better(Im talking over 10")

I go with the festae as well, imo I dont think there are many fish that can compete with their beauty
